we arrived safely in berlin last night after a 9 hour journey from zlin. we had a very nice time there indeed. marek was a great host and very professional. it was a total contrast from the fiasco of saturday night. he
made us feel very welcome.

in the end, pataky didnt give me even one single krown! infact the circus began upon arrival, with the guestlist. we (corvin, klang, my girls from the office and some friends) waited in the freezing cold as no one was responsible. corvin and klang didnt even get a pass at first! it turned out that the guest list was "lost" and so important business partners and friends (some who had come from berlin) didnt get in.
apart from not getting paid, we didnt even get one single free drink all night and had to buy them all ourselves, nor did we get our travel costs either.

pataky lied to me through and through. his "partner" just laughed in my face all the time at my frustration.

i started to become suspicious, when i asked pataky to bring the fee to the hotel as i didnt want to be in the club with all the money (i had prior arranged this with him before the gig). when we arrived in prague and i asked him where he was, he then tried to tell me that our agreement was XXX e all-in, including accom and travel expenses (but this was NEVER the deal ales) as you know, i gave him already a very special deal with corvin and klang because the gig came from your recommendation.

although he never mentioned the reason why he had no cash, when i asked him why they had no money, the next day i heard him telling corvin tall tales of having to hire a generator a few hours before the gig, which ate up all their money!

the result, corvin and klang ended up paying to play that gig. naturally, corvin and klang were not impressed and it will just make things difficult for the other serious promoters in the future as i will now be
forced to demand 100% fee and hotel & travel confirmation upfront.

the negative vibes ruined our evening. i was very angry and i just couldnt relax and i was really trying hard to keep my head. the promoter (a large guy with glasses and a pony tail) just kept shrugging his shoulders and it really didnt seem to bother him at all. he didnt even say sorry for the situation. who are these fucking people who infiltrate our scene, rip off sponsors and put the whole scene in a bad light?

even though corvin could have stopped playing anytime, he naturally played for all the other people who had turned up.

the most disappointing thing was that the promoter didnt once apologise for the situation, and he didnt even thank corvin and klang for playing. now THAT is disgusting if you ask me ales and certainly not the way i expect myself nor my artists to be treated, anywhere. so as you can imagine, i am not very happy with igor pataky and that promoter (btw what is his name?).

after realising the situation was hopeless and no matter what i was going to do, i wasnt going to get paid, i asked pataky for at least our train tickets.
he kept telling me that he had the locator nrs for the train tickets and that i just simply had to pick the tickets up from the station. then when i said ok, we go together to the station to get them, he then told me hed only made reservations and had actually no ticket (yet), but of course, he had no
reservation number with him and couldnt even remember for which train hed actually made the reservations for!

then he made a deal with marek that he would bring him the laser that marek wanted to rent off him for sunday nights gig, and the payment would be the difference for the train tickets. of course pataky didnt deliver the laser. so i ended up paying for the travel costs myself.
